WHO IS MIDWEST MIKE?

I grew up in a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota for marketing. I went to school there for 3 years before getting into the car business as a salesman the summer of my junior year. Once I began making money selling cars, I chose not to go back to school. I was later promoted to Sales Director. Even though I started gambling for fun about 10 years ago, I had no true idea what I was doing. I would bet on the games I could watch on TV without any meaningful strategies or deep understanding of sports betting fundamentals. It wasn’t until about 5 years ago that I more seriously began handicapping games in my free time and while at work. As it turns out, I’m pretty damn good at it.

A coworker of mine began referring to me as Midwest Mike and I then created an Instagram account and began posting my plays for free. I started to get a good following and eventually learned about an app called BETSPERTS and started posting on there as well. I then started posting my plays on Twitter and Bookit, where I became a verified handicapper within just a few months.

I began to consider picking games as more than just a hobby. It became a talent of mine. And as the famous saying goes, “If you’re good at something, never do it for free.”

In March of 2021, I partnered with another handicapper and co-founded a service through which I was able to begin selling my VIP sports picks. Through our website and the Bookit app, I was able to make myself and other individuals a significant amount of money. During my first year as a paid handicapper, I finished the year +250 units all while maintaining my full time job as a Sales Director at a Chevrolet dealership.

What started as something I was doing for extra income quickly evolved into a business with a growing VIP client base. Because of this, I was able to officially resign from my job in January 2022 to fully pursue what I love doing: utilizing the sports industry to make myself and my clients as much money as possible.

In March of 2022, I founded Midwest Mike Sports, a business venture which aims to inspire unconventional financial freedom through sports investing. I teach clients how to wisely navigate the sports betting space while offering my own intensely researched and WINNING sports picks. I believe that individuals who treat this like a side business and follow my system to a T can achieve financial freedom just as I have. I would argue that 99% of bettors lack the discipline needed to strategically and successfully use sports investing as not just a hobby but also as a business. A common misconception within this space is that a large bankroll is required to begin. That’s not the case. I recommend starting with a minimum of $3,000 and allowing me to grow your bankroll, and therefore your profit, over time.
